| The Puget Sound Baseball Club started in 2003 as a single team has evolved into a non-profit organization consisting of six teams ranging in age, from 10 to 18 years old. The Puget Sound Baseball Club is known throughout the northwest as one of the best youth baseball programs around. With more than 500 victories in 5 years, World Series & State Championship titles and numerous local & national tournament and league titles, The Puget Sound Baseball Club has placed itself among the elite. With the philosophy and vision of surrounding yourself with great people, controlling the controllable and learning what it takes to win, the PSBBC has attracted not only some of the best baseball talent in the area, but some of best people and young men in the area as well. The Mission of the Puget Sound Baseball Club is to not only create great baseball players, but to create great human beings as well. With the motto of, "turning boys into men, one pitch at a time," the Puget Sound Baseball organization prides itself on community involvement and teaching life’s little lessons through the game of baseball. Puget Sound Baseball Club players will conduct themselves with class at all times on the field and off. And set an example for the entire youth baseball world of how to play the game with passion and respect. Each and every player will display humbleness in victory, graciousness in defeat and will never focus on the things that they cannot control. | Based in downtown Seattle, RCEC is dedicated to the future of
the community by serving the educational needs of young people. The 2010 auction planning incurred some pre-event challenges, yet a highlight were items donated increased in total value by $14,800 over 2009. In 2009, 140 guests attended their event that featured 80 more items in their silent auction and live auction than the previous year. Of the 190 items offered, almost 90% of these sold. Gross proceeds for 2009 were $67,500. Gross proceeds dropped by only $4,800 over the previous year, whereas many local Rotary organizations had seen 1/3 the results of previous years. [Less...] |

and develop the whole person for the glory of God! The vision of Rainier
Christian Schools is to be a place of excellence that produces students of
excellence, who serve God with excellence. This auction featured 370 guests in 2011 and around 350 items in their silent auction, dessert auction, super silent auction, table centerpieces, and live auction. Highlights: in 2011, they sold almost 96% of their items with over 132% value received. In 2008, they hit a record high of $112,000 net proceeds; an increase of $27,000 over 2007’s set-back. In the past 5 years, a total of $523,500 has been raised, including over $210,000 for student scholarships. [Less...] |

| River of Life Fellowship in Kent was established in
1982 as a non-denominational church and has always been a place for everyone
regardless of age, race, single, married, child, teen, adult and/or senior. Kristine founded this auction in 2000 for summer outreach events. They raised $19,200 that first year. The 2011 auction had some changes made, where Kristine helped them decrease their silent auction to only around 200 items, yet increase their rate of return from 75% of value to 91% of value. This was done by selecting items for inclusion that were more desirable by their auction guests. Each item in 2011’s silent auction brought in nearly $14 more than the average of silent items in 2010. [Less...] |

| Snohomish County Legal Services is a free legal aid program
serving Snohomish County residents experiencing poverty. Their staff, pro-bono
attorneys and volunteers provide information, advice and legal representation
to ensure meaningful access to justice regardless of individual barriers and
needs. Their auction in 2011 was revamped and only featured a dessert auction, wine raffle, heads or tail game, $500 pre-loaded bid card raffle, and 40-item live auction. Sponsorships were increased in 2011 to combat the removal of the silent auction component. Guests were pleased with the changes made. Highlights: over 90% of their items sold in their 2009 auction with 94% value received. Gross proceeds in 2009 were over $62,000 not included event ticket sales. This was a bounce-back increase of $10,000 from 2008. [Less...] |
